What I am offering is help. When I started out I felt lost. I made a lot of mistakes, some of which ended in injury. If I can help someone avoid those mistakes, or avoid an injury than my goal in doing all of this is achieved.

I am someone who lived the changes necessary to go from 280 pounds to ultra marathon training.

Online Coaching

First of all I am not a personal trainer.

My expertise comes from trial and error and a fair amount of research into the goals I want to achieve personally. Those goals included losing over 100 pounds, running my first 5k, running a sub 20 minute 5k, running a 1:46 half marathon, and training for a 50 mile ultra marathon.

That sounds really weighted towards running but I have done a fair amount of strength and resistance training as well as cycling along the way.

Healthy Living Advice

I was going to put something about weight loss advice on that second service but decided to go with “healthy living” instead.

One of the most critical pieces of what I learned on my journey is how everything we do has an impact on how we eat and why.

If you were to come to me asking about a meal plan or diet I can give you advice on that, however there are underlying questions that still remain about what got you there in the first place, how you intend to keep from reverting back, and if this isn’t your first time why is “this time the one that will stick”?

I try to look at the big picture when making a “diet change” or implementing a new lifestyle change. That is what worked for me, and I feel like when people don’t step back and look at how the change will impact other areas of their life they end up falling short.

Accountability and Motivation

Life gets us down. We let ourselves slip up and fall. If you are having a hard time getting motivated and you think that having someone check in would help reach out.

I love seeing people push outside their comfort zone. It pushes me to better myself in support of other peoples hard work.

I do have a full time job, a wife, a daughter, and an extended family that pulls me in all different directions. I say that because I want you to know that this is real. That I am a normal person who shops at Kroger and drives a messy car. If I can make these changes anyone can.
